Farms and Food Producers in the Champlain Valley

We have close to 250 farmers and food producers across Vermont’s Champlain Valley.

Use this map to connect directly with producers.

(The below map was created during the COVID-19 Spring 2020 Shutdown. As of Summer 2021, we are in the process of creating a desktop version of our EatLocalVT app, also a product of the COVID era, so the map on this page has not been updated since 2020. In the meantime, if you have a smartphone or tablet, download the Eat Local VT app in Apple App Store or Google Play Store.)

To use the interactive map (click here to open in full screen):

  • You can search by town, food category or specific producer:

    • Go into full screen mode using the bracketed square in the upper right corner or click here.

    • Use the magnifying glass icon on the left side and type in the town, category or producer you are looking for. You can then move the map around to see other producers in the area.

    • Use the checkboxes to choose what categor(ies) you would like to see.

    • Zoom into the town you would like to view and see what producers are near that town

  • Click on the icons for directory information. See icon key below.

  • Click on the arrow in the upper left corner of the map for producers by category. Then click on the down arrow to expand the list.

  • The map is easier to navigate and search in full screen mode or in the Google Maps app. Click on the view larger map icon in the upper right corner of the map or click here to access.

Once you have located a producer, you may call, email or visit their website to order from their online store, if they have one.

Mobile phone and tablet users:

  • Download the Eat Local VT app for free in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  • If you prefer not to download the app, you open this map in the Google Maps app by clicking on the view larger map icon.

  • Mobile phone users may need to rotate their phone in order to access the icon.
